Hpv Warts is a sexually transmitted infection that is caused by HPV, otherwise known as Human Papilloma Virus. You many known this condition as genital warts. HPV Warts is more difficult to treat than gonorrhoea or syphilis as HPV Warts can have a period where the infection lies dormant in your body. This means that it can be spread without the person even know that they are infected. HPV Warts goes through periods where the infection lies dormant and then other times the warts flare up. Therefore it is important to make sure to practice safe sex at all times by using a condom. If a person with HPV Warts has unprotected sex there is a 70% chance of them passing the infection onto their partner. This disease is usually spread through skin to skin contact, and very often people are totally unaware that they have HPV Warts as they are so small and don’t present any other symptoms. Condoms are not always going to protect your partner against infection as the HPV Warts can appear in places not covered by the condom. Quite often a female will not even know they have the warts and it is only when they are checked by a doctor or have a pap smear test that they find out. It is really important for women who are sexually active to get regular check ups. If left untreated, serious cases of HPV Warts could lead to other conditions such as pelvic inflammatory disease or cervical cancer. It just proves again how important it is for sexually active people to get regular check ups. Hpv Warts often present themselves as small raised areas, they feel soft but do not burst, they may itch or burn, but can also be painless. A lot of people choose to look up pictures of warts on the internet to see if it looks like the symptoms they have. Sometimes the warts can be pink, other times more flesh colored or grey, a lot of people say they are similar to a clauliflower in shape. Occasionally the warts can disappear without treatment but generally you will require some form of treatment to get rid of them. If you choose to speak to your doctor they will discuss various options including burning the warts off. Your other option is to treat yourself in the comfort of your own home with a treatment from a well known firm. The choice is yours and if one option does not work please do not worry because there are plenty options out there.

Warts are a severe skin disorder which is often taken too lightly! One should realize the risks and dangers of this highly contagious skin disease. In my opinion, it is always advisable to visit a dermatologist or other medical professional when suffering from warts, to ensure a safe therapy.
