The symptoms of type 1 and type 2 diabetes are very similar, but they manifest themselves as different speeds.

Type 1 diabetes symptoms begin to show in a short time period.  Type 1 is caused by a response of the immune system attacks the beta cells in the pancreas.  Type 1 diabetes is not curable, and those who suffer from it will require insulin supplements for the rest of their lives.

Type 1 diabetes symptoms develop and worsen very quickly because there is no insolently produced.  If the condition is not diagnosed quickly, sufferers may begin falling in to a diabetic coma on occasion.

With type 2 diabetes, some insulin is being produced and released into the bloodstream.  It may not be enough, or the cells have become resistant, and the body is unable to utilize the available insulin.  Because of this, symptoms of type 2 diabetes develop more slowly in progress over a longer time period.

Common symptoms of both types of diabetes include excessive thirst, frequent urination, sudden changes in vision, sweet-smelling breath, increase in appetite especially when combined with an unexplained weight loss, drowsiness and lethargy, labored breathing, and even unconsciousness.

Be conscious of your body and the signals of sense and if you experience these symptoms, please see your physician.

the standard for diabetes is Metformin but i also try to use alternative medicine in controlling diabetes. Alpha Lipoic Acid and Charantia seems to work well too against diabetes.
